In today's digital age, having a digital menu for your restaurant is more of a necessity than a luxury. Whether you're an established restaurant chain or a cozy little café just starting out, this solution will work wonders for you. The best part? You can set it up yourself without any advanced technical knowledge. Let's dive in!

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Set Up Your Spreadsheet:

First, make a copy of the template spreadsheet. This will serve as the backbone of your digital menu.

2. Personalize The Settings:

Go to the Settings Sheet and update details:

• Restaurant Name: Your establishment’s pride and joy.
• Logo URL: A direct URL of your restaurant’s logo. (Using Google Drive File? Make sure it’s accessible to ‘Anyone’.)
• Currency Symbol: Choose your currency, be it $, £, €, or others.

3. Categorize Your Dishes:

Go to the Categories Sheet, list out the categories you have, ex:- Starters, Main Course, Desserts …and so on.

4. Craft Your Menu:

Go to Menu Sheet and add menu items:

• Name: What’s that delicious dish called?
• Description: A mouth-watering description to entice customers.
• Image URL: A picture is worth a thousand words.
• Price: The cost of the item.
• Category: Match them with the categories you’ve created.

5. Make It Live:

This is where the magic happens.

• Head over to the Extensions menu in the spreadsheet.
• Tap into ‘Apps Script’.
• Hit ‘Deploy’, then choose ‘New deployment’.
• Proceed with ‘Deploy’ again and then ‘Authorize access’. Don’t forget to grant the permissions.
• Now, a unique Web App URL for your menu will be generated. Grab it!

6. Generate a QR Code for Easy Access:

Now, let’s make it super accessible for your customers.

• Visit The QR Code Generator.
• Stick that Web App URL there.
• Generate, download, and print! Stick these QR codes on your tables, walls, or even the front door.

Voilà! You’re Digital Now!

Your restaurant is now equipped with a digital menu! Changes in the spreadsheet will update in real-time on the web app, ensuring your customers always see the latest offerings.
