Din is a free sound level meter that turns your phone into a decibel meter. Open the app and it reads the noise around you in real time, on a clear colour-coded scale from quiet blue to dangerous red.
Beyond a live reading, Din records sessions, tracks your noise exposure against recognised safety limits, and lets you share or export the results - all processed on your device, with no audio ever leaving your phone.
What Din measures
Live decibels. Real-time dB readings on a colour-coded loudness scale.
Recording sessions. Capture the minimum, average and maximum dB over time, each with a timestamp.
Reports and CSV. Share a report or export any session as CSV for documentation.
Reference guide. A built-in guide to real-world sound levels from 30 to 120 dB.
